POLICE LOG for March 20 Homeless Camp Found Under Bridge Bad Crash

first_imgWILMINGTON, MA — Here are highlights of the Wilmington Police Log for Wednesday, March 20, 2019:A 2-vehicle crash with airbag deployment took place in front of McDonald’s. Child was in one of the vehicles. No injuries. Both vehicles towed. (7:20am)Police received report of a homeless camp underneath the Richmond Street bridge. Police confirmed small camp in the Middlesex Canal culvert. DPW notified to clean area. (11:43am)A Hopkins Street caller reported a Social Security scam phone call. (12:41pm)A walk-in party reported malicious damage to their vehicle on Ring Avenue. (12:58pm)Teacher at North Intermediate School requested patrol call after non-students continued to play football in the parking lot around staff vehicles despite several staff members asking them not to. Police moved to the kids to the field. (3:22pm)MBTA transit police called about a male party walking down the tracks from Andover spotted by the State Police Airwing. Police unable to locate on their tracks. File PhotoPolice arrested a woman with 1000 yaba tablets, four bottles of phensidyl at Kukna village in sadar upazila here on Sunday night.The arrestee is Mita Begum, 26, of the area.Tariqul Islam, additional superintendent of Magura police, said on secret information that Mita had brought 1,000 yaba tablets and four bottles of phensidyl from Jashore, police conducted a drive at 8:00pm at the house of Mohiuddin and arrested Mita.A case was filed.last_img
