Sales tax Property tax Income tax A combination of the three, if not all three I need to know the consequences of a tax cut first. I don’t think we provide enough tax funding for several public programs. View Resultscenter_img Who is to blame for out of control public spending? Report Reply 1 reply · active 382 weeks ago +2 Vote up Vote down Larry · 382 weeks ago Its public record, go down there and asked to see where it is going Report Reply 0 Vote up Vote down JustMe · 382 weeks ago Transparency was one issue I had with the last 1/2% sales tax increase. Not only was it not discussed in enough detail, but who can argue with “provide ambulance service to the county”, or “funds for futures unlimited”. No one in their right mind would say NO to those things. However, those are very basic, generic descriptions that tell us absolutely NOTHING about what the money is being used for. @Larry…..they’re politicians. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a politician give a straight up answer to “where is my money going”. You get answers like “our nice roads”, “to help pay for ambulance service to the county”. They give you answers like that while giving you a reach-a-round to check your pockets for spare change. Not sure that is a good name for it. WHEN NASA FIRST STARTED SENDING UP ASTRONAUTS, THEY QUICKLY DISCOVERED THAT BALL-POINT PENS WOULD NOT WORK IN ZERO GRAVITY. TO COMBAT THIS PROBLEM, NASA SCIENTISTS SPENT A DECADE AND $12 BILLION DEVELOPING A PEN THAT WRITES IN ZERO GRAVITY, UPSIDE DOWN, ON ALMOST ANY SURFACE INCLUDING GLASS AND AT TEMPERATURES RANGING FROM BELOW FREEZING TO OVER 300 C. THE RUSSIANS USED A PENCIL. Report Reply 0 replies · active 381 weeks ago Post a new comment Enter text right here!
